Terms of Use
United States · Version 1.1 · Effective 01 August 2026
Perity has no subscription and nothing to buy today. These terms are short because the arrangement is simple.
Who you're dealing with
Perity (“we,” “us”) is offered by Four Boots LLC, doing business as Perity, a Wyoming limited liability company — built and run by EiEi, its founder. It's a health-tracking app for people navigating perimenopause and hormone replacement therapy. Perity is currently offered in the United States.
Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using Perity, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Notice. If you don't agree, don't use the app. You must be at least 18 years old.
What the app does
Perity lets you record medications and HRT schedules, symptoms, cycle and period data, lab results, and journal entries; connect Apple Health if you choose to; import your history from other apps; and see your own trends over time, including a summary you can generate and share with a clinician. Perity is available on iPhone and Android, with a companion app for Apple Watch (Wear OS companion apps, including Samsung and Pixel Watch, are planned but not yet available). There are no social or user-to-user features — nobody else sees your account.
Your data
What is collected and why is set out in the Privacy Notice. You keep ownership of everything you put into Perity. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — to store your information, process it, and show it back to you and to anyone you direct us to share it with — and nothing beyond that. Your data is not sold and is not shared for advertising.
AI features
Some optional features use AI to get information into Perity faster — reading a lab report you photograph, pulling a symptom mention out of a journal entry, or importing history from another app. They are off by default; turning them on is your choice. AI processing runs on infrastructure we control, under contract with our cloud provider — your health data is not sent to a third-party AI chat service. AI never writes to your health record directly — it proposes what it found, and only what you confirm is saved. Your content is not used to train third-party foundation models.
Using it properly
Don't misuse the service: no unlawful use, no trying to reach another user's data, no probing or disrupting the systems behind it.
Perity is not a medical device
Perity does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The schedules, trends, and summaries it shows are informational, derived from data you provide or connect. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something the app showed you. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911.
If you're in crisis
If you may harm yourself or someone else, or need immediate help, call your local emergency services now. In the United States you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
What belongs to us
The app, its design, and its software are ours or our licensors'. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use. They transfer no ownership.
Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perity and Four Boots LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Perity in the past 12 months or USD $100. Some states do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to cover us against claims that arise from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.
Ending it
You can stop using Perity and delete your account at any time from inside the app; deletion removes your data as described in the Privacy Notice. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, create risk, or misuse the service. The sections that by their nature outlast the account — what belongs to us, warranties, limits on liability, indemnity, and governing law — survive.
Disputes, arbitration, and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, except where your local consumer-protection laws require otherwise. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Perity will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You and Perity each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative action. You and we each retain any non-waivable rights provided by applicable consumer, privacy, health, or platform law.
Changes
These terms may be updated. When they are, the version number and date at the top change. Continuing to use the app after a material change means you accept the updated terms.
